Automotive technicians will inspect, maintain and repair automotive vehicles. Technicians use diagnostic tools to identify the source of problems and then make adjustments or repairs.

Major activities include:Â
- Assisting technicians in performing technical activities.
- Diagnoses and repairs to specifications.
- Continuously learns new technical information and techniques in formal and on the job training in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
- Maintains an organized and neat service bay.
Requirements:
- ASE Certifications are preferred
- Minimum 2 years' technician / mechanic experience at an automotive dealership or automotive service shop is a must
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
- Professional appearance required
- Enthusiasm, strong communication skills, positive attitude, ambition, work ethic, professional conduct, high integrity, and dedication to personal improvement
- Must have proven track record of success, job-hoppers need not apply
