We've just taken in a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox LT SUV - it's finished in Cajun Red Tintcoat, with a Jet Black premium cloth interior. This Equinox currently has 79,963 miles and is powered by a turbocharged 1.5L gasoline I4 engine paired with a smooth-shifting 6-speed automatic transmission. It features all-wheel drive for added confidence in changing road conditions and delivers an efficient 25 MPG city and 30 MPG highway.
This Equinox has had two previous owners and is in Good condition, reflecting responsible ownership and regular use without major issues. For added peace of mind, it comes with a dealership-backed 1-month, 1,000-mile powertrain warranty, giving you confidence right from day one.
Designed with daily drivers and active families in mind, the Equinox LT strikes a smart balance between comfort, efficiency, and safety. Sitting behind the wheel feels immediately intuitive and reassuring. The elevated driving position gives you a clear view of the road ahead, while the turbocharged engine provides responsive power that feels light and effortless around town and confident when merging onto the highway. All-wheel drive quietly works in the background, helping you feel planted when roads are wet, snowy, or uneven.
Inside, the cabin is welcoming and thoughtfully laid out. Heated front seats bring cozy comfort on cold mornings, while dual-zone automatic climate control lets both driver and passenger dial in their ideal temperature. The leather-wrapped steering wheel feels great in your hands and adds a subtle touch of refinement to the interior. Remote start makes it easy to warm up or cool down the cabin before you even step inside, a small feature that quickly becomes a daily favorite.
Technology is front and center with the Chevrolet Infotainment 3 system and its 7-inch touchscreen. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto seamlessly connect your smartphone, putting navigation, music, and messages right where you want them. Bluetooth connectivity, multiple USB ports, and available WiFi hotspot capability keep everyone connected on the go. The power liftgate makes loading groceries, strollers, or weekend gear quick and effortless, especially when your hands are full.
Safety is a strong suit of this Equinox. Features like lane keep assist, lane departure warning, forward collision alert, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, and rear park assist work together to help you stay aware and protected during every drive. Automatic high beams and HID headlights enhance nighttime visibility, while the rear vision camera adds confidence when backing into tight spaces.
This 2020 Chevrolet Equinox LT is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a comfortable, capable SUV that fits seamlessly into everyday life. With its efficient performance, advanced safety tech, and thoughtful comfort features, it checks the boxes for commuters, small families, and anyone who values easy driving with added peace of mind. Fantastic SUV at a reasonable price
by EquinoxToad on Friday, March 19, 2021
I have the 2.0L engine, which is a significant upgrade from the base engine. With its power, it makes the car fun to drive and still gets great MPG. Like most American auto brands, you can get this vehicle at a significant discount under the "MSRP", making this a great vehicle for the price. So many people complain about the start/stop feature not having the ability to disable. Yes, it I agree it should have it, however, this system is the smoothest I've felt versus many other automakers. Because it is so smooth, it doesn't bother me at all. I usually can't tell when the engine turns off. Maybe this only applies to the 20.L and the 1.5L is more harsh. I'm not sure. Either way, it saves fuel and does its job very well. The Equinox's biggest downfall is the cheap plastics used inside. The most bothersome being the turn signal indicator (yes, I'm one of the few that still use it). It is very cheap plastic and feels like it'll fall off with every use. - 5.0
I see only operator difficulties, mechanically fin

Driving this is a pleasure. What I don't like is the pillar between windshield seems thicker than necessary and hampers view. The armrest is too far rearward and difficult to access the interior. The safety belt comes out of the door pillar tight against the plastic and I feel should be a half inch away so it would be easier to grab. The safety features are simply great, the seat fits great, the turbo gives plenty of get up and go, the AWD is fantastic on snow. All in all if the auto gives service for its lifetime as the first 1000 miles have, I will be very pleased. - 5.0
2.0 turbo

Premium fuel recommended per owners manual and decal inside gas door. The government web site stated tested as premium. From what I could tell by reviewing an article or two the vehicle probably runs well but performance will be slightly less(prob includes mileage)with reg..The dealer never mentioned this to me nor did another dealer to a relative that bought the 2.0.Manual says use premium if it knocks.I had a chance to back out of our deal but didnt because this a low mileage vehicle for us-love the car otherwise.
